Currently I am reading “The Father’s Love Letter” (by Barry Adams), and am using this as a daily devotional guide along with the Church Army “Candle”. This no doubt will be used in the youth group teachings as well, as it really plugs away at who God wants to be to us, and who we are to Him. Each statement in this letter to us is steeped in Scripture, which allows for detailed unpacking of that passage. I feel that this is a good reminder to me, which is what I need to hear from time to time.
“The Wealthy Barber” by David Chilton.
This is a great financial planning book. I read 4 chapters in a day and I am now actually excited about investing in mutual funds with a view to invest in real estate in a few years time. I haven’t finished the book yet. But I know it will be an asset to anyone who is looking to start their own financial planning.
